Adrian joined Pilgrims’ Friend Society as Assistant Director of Operations in October 2025. He is a Chartered Manager with a mixed background in health and social care and property. He began his career as an Assistant Building Surveyor, a role he held for 12 years. In his early 30s, following what he describes as a call by grace, Adrian felt led to serve the Lord and His people in a more direct capacity. He subsequently joined a Christian care charity as General Manager and Company Secretary, where he served for 15 years.
As line manager to Registered Managers, he gained extensive experience in running registered care services for older people within a Christian environment. Adrian worships at Bethel Chapel, Luton, where he serves as a part-time Sunday School teacher. He is married to Rhoda and enjoys walking, kayaking, DIY, and training his Cocker Spaniel (who has spent much of his life bringing smiles to those who live and work in care homes).
